I spent a month bicycling around mostly the south island and a little on the north island during my 30's. The people were so incredibly fresh and friendly. And if you love water and mountains, you will most definitely love New Zealand. How terrific for both you and the kids!

ReplyDeleteEveryone is remarkably friendly. Mostly, we've seen pastures and sheep, but we are going to spend time near the water during our stay here too.
